Ballarat will once again light up for White Night, with the popular night-time event returning next year.
The spectacular creative showcase, which sees projections, performances and music
takeover the city’s streets and laneways, will take place on Saturday 1 June 2024.
This is the fourth time Ballarat has hosted the popular event, which draws tens of thousands of visitors and showcases the city’s historic buildings in a new light.
The last White Night Ballarat event in 2019 attracted 40,000 attendees, filled accommodation and delivered $2.8m in economic impact to the region.
Announced by the Victorian Government on Tuesday 21 November, the one-night-only event will once again transform Ballarat’s CBD through illuminations, projections, music, and interactive works with program details to be revealed next year.
Ballarat will be the only region to host White Night in 2024.
